SUMMARY:                                                                                                       

The Warehouse/Distribution Specialist will perform varied tasks/projects within the warehouse including picking/pulling orders working off pick tickets. Receiving products and raw materials, stocking, and inventory management. The Warehouse Specialist will also break down pallets and cardboard boxes, transfer products into plastic bins and help transfer products from offsite warehouse to the main production facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receive incoming materials and reconcile/verify purchase orders.
• Work inside ERP system to enter data and verify inventory accuracy and quantities.
• Communicate and work alongside other staff members in high pace, high demand job.
• Learn responsibilities of outbound distribution and be key contributor to end of day finished product distribution.
• Adheres to organization policies and procedures
• Assists in maintaining appropriate inventory levels in warehouse.
• Ensure warehouse is kept clean, tidy and hazard free.
• Perform other tasks or special projects as necessary.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

• Good visual acuity and manual dexterity.
• Very high attention to detail required.
• Strong computer skills and background in working in ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, Fishbowl, UPS World Ship, etc.
• Must be able to work independently or on a team.
• Dependable in attendance and job performance. Good verbal communication skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position will not have supervisory responsibilities

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This position works primarily in a professional office setting utilizing standard office equipment. This position will also be throughout the entire warehouse as well as back and forth between facilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Sitting and standing often.

• Reaching with hands/arms.

• Walking often throughout the day.

• Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50+ pounds.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time while in constant movement and physical activity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or GED.
