THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION, A FEW FIRST SHIFT OPENINGS, AND 2ND SHIFT AVAILABLE.

These Team Members assist with the preparation of sterile pharmaceutical products in a highly controlled, regulated environment. This Team Member will undergo stringent training program to become qualified to work in critical aseptic environment inside ISO 7 rooms and ISO 5 workspaces. SCA is looking for hard working Team Members who can intimately learn the processes and procedures of aseptic processing in a cGMP regulated environment. Strong emphasis on team environment and worker satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (THESE ARE PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE AND THE INCUMBENT WILL PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED):
- Undergo thorough training curriculum on gowning, USP 797 regulations, FDA cGMP-503B regulations, internal SOP's.
- Garb up using fully sterile gowning attire
- Prepare compounding area and ensure IV compounding technicians have all necessary supplies
- Assist with preparation of IV admixtures per client order, as well as batch compounding of routine items.
- Document work performed at multiple stages in the process
- Participate and assist with line clearance activities
- Continuous improvement, safety, and training
- Identify, communicate and solve problems to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety objectives are met
OTHER DUTIES COULD INCLUDE AT TIMES:
- Label, package and document per written instructions
- Count materials/product to ensure accurate count
- Apply labels to various components
- Replenish packaging materials to areas/work cells as directed by Group Leader.
- Assist with Inventory
- Perform bar code and systems challenges (as applicable) for equipment used
- Complete end of batch reconciliation and count verification
QUALIFICATIONS JOB REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS):
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong, consistent attention to detail.
- Ability to focus and have high level of attention to detail, even at fast pace.
- There are minimum training requirements for each operator level
- Must have a strong understanding of professionalism and responsibility
PHYSICAL / SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to pass eye examination, and or begin wearing corrective lenses
- Must be able to lift, push/pull, and carry up to 35 pounds
- Must be able to sit or stand for over 7 hours per day
- Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
- Use of hands and fingers to manipulate equipment is required
- Clean criminal background record and drug testing per DEA requirement.
