Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team. As a SCADA systems integrator, you will be responsible for PLC programming, SCADA software interface programming, providing our customers with customer technical support and onsite troubleshooting. In addition, along with other team members you will have the opportunity to assess existing systems and provide customer recommendations as well as provide customer quotes.
In this role, you will:
- Interface with customers to determine their needs
- Assess SCADA systems to provide recommendations
- Program PLC’s
- Develop SCADA interface screens
- Program OIT terminals
- Configure wireless radios
- Troubleshoot all aspects of SCADA
- Interface with our operations manager to ensure that projects are on track, both in schedule and budget
- Continue ongoing learning and developing competency on new and existing products, solutions, technologies, and applications
You are an ideal candidate if you:
- Have a desire to solve challenging problems, help people, and become an expert
- Have PLC development experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon and Automation Direct
- Have hands-on experience with HMI and SCADA software such as ClearSCADA, Aveva (Wonderware) System Platform and InTouch, Ignition, Factory Talk View and Iconics Genesis
- Have a working knowledge of Ethernet networking technology and architectures
- Have field experience with wireless radios such as GE MDS, Freewave, or Ubiquiti
- Experience working with Cisco routers is definitely a plus!
- Have field experience working for an SCADA System Integrator
- Are a goal-oriented, organized team player that is also self-motivated and self-directed
- Can multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Qualifications:
- We understand that there are many ways to get experience. We have had incredibly successful integrators that have had Bachelor’s degree in technical fields OR that have work experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including proficiency in systematic troubleshooting techniques
- Experience in the application or support of automation systems
- Experience with computer networking
- Basic understanding of electronics
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and online communication skills
- Creative thinker
