    Serving Children and Adults in Need, Inc. Position Available Project HOPES is an evidence-based prevention program designed to increase protective factors in families with children 0-5 years of age who are considered at risk for child abuse and neglect. Seeking Program Director for SCAN’s Project HOPES program. Founded in 1982 in Laredo, Texas, SCAN is a leading provider of social services in South Texas. SCAN is committed to the highest quality standards in prevention, intervention, and treatment services. Primary Responsibilities

    1. Become certified as a SafeCare Provider within the first 6 to 8 months of being hired.
    2. Become certified as a SafeCare Coach within the first 12 to 16 months of being hired.
    3. Hire, train, supervise, and be a motivating mentor to HOPES Program staff.
    4. Assure HOPES program goals are met annually.
    5. Participate in budget planning and assure that budget meets program goals and operations.
    6. Provides coordinated and ongoing monitoring of the services provided by the SafeCare Providers/Home Visitors.
    7. Ensures that the SafeCare Providers/Home Visitors are maintaining the fidelity of all evidence-based interventions used by the program.
    8. Schedules and takes part in program-sponsored activities to prevent child abuse and neglect.
    9. Assures staff provide detailed documentation of all program services provided to participants.
    10. Assures the required data is collected and entered in the assigned participant database.
    11. Schedules and hosts stakeholder workgroup meetings throughout the fiscal year.
    12. Performs ongoing and coordinated quality assurance activities in conjunction with the HOPES Program Quality Management Coordinator.
    13. Compile required reports for the funding agency and submits them in a timely manner. Experience and Qualifications • A Master’s degree in psychology, social work or related behavioral science field from an accredited college or university is required. • An LPC License is preferred. • At least 2-3 years of relevant program management and supervisory experience is preferred. • Experience providing curriculum-based education. • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). • Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record. Job Type: Full-time administrative position Work Schedule and Compensation: • The regular work schedule is 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, there will be occasions when work takes place on weekends and in the evenings. • Salary range: $4,583.33 to $5,416.67 per month depending on experience and qualifications.
