2 Full Time Positions in Webb County

Parent Educator for the Supporting Mental Health and Resiliency in Texas (SMART) Program. The SMART Program goal is to improve mental health Outcomes for Children and Families and build healthy Community foundations.

The Parent Educator will lead Discussion Groups that will decrease child/youth behavior problems, conflict, dysfunctional parenting practices, and parental stress levels while increasing caregiver sense of competence, psychological adjustment, and relationship quality using the Triple P- Positive Parenting Program curriculum.

The grant contract period (term) begins on July 1, 2024, and is for 14 months, subject to and contingent on funding and/or approval by Texas HHS.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in behavioral science required.
• Bachelor's degree in behavioral science preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience working with families.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Must be available to work flexible hours.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.

Salary: $19.23 to $21.15 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
