Job Summary: Strategist

As a Strategist, you are a champion of strategic development and direction across assigned clients. You have learned how to consistently nail inspiring, original strategies with a strong point of view across projects, whether big or small. You understand that thoughtfulness, empathy, and natural curiosity are necessary components in good strategy. You can craft impactful stories, backed with evidence, that go ‘beyond the obvious' – and you know how to push cross-functional teams to accurately bring these stories to life in compelling, thought-provoking ways.

Job Responsibilities

• Own Discovery & Insight development – leveraging desk research, stakeholder interviews and other primary research – across assigned clients
• Inspire compelling creative by translating data into actionable human insights
• Develop Target Profiles and Brand Idea Briefs; brief creative teams and present to clients
• Start to hone your sell-in skills, helping shape how work is presented to the client and ‘think on your feet' to ensure the work gets sold in the room
• Act as the strategic voice in creative reviews to ensure Brand Ideas, content and messages resonate with the target, are on-strategy, on-brand and designed to achieve campaign objectives
• Be seen by internal teams as a respected guide to enhance and further work product
• Partner on research projects (qual/quant studies, IDIs, UX testing, creative testing)
• Build B2B and B2C customer personas and detailed journey maps
• Partner with integrated teams to create Activation Plans
• Partner with other Strategy team members to conduct workshops with clients to align on inputs and possibilities for strategic initiatives, including brand development, messaging and positioning

You're a great fit for this position if you have:

• 3-5 years of agency experience
• Fluency in all core strategy subjects and deep expertise in 1–2 areas, such as: brand positioning, brand architecture, communications strategy, implementation
• B2B and CPG client experience
• Digital expertise
