    This job is located at the Holland Tunnel

    SCOPE – We are requesting resumes for an individual with extensive experience in developing and maintaining detailed construction schedules from project inception, through the design phases to construction kickoff and completion. The Project Schedulers will review/comment on/approve the contractor’s baseline schedule for compliance with contract documents, providing detailed analysis in monthly updates. They will also monitor and document construction progress, identify, track, and assist in resolving construction issues and conflicts. The assignment also entails merging multiple project schedules, analyzing, and making recommendations on, while working and interfacing with Port Authority staff located in different offices. Additionally, the individual will review the staging requirements of the various projects to identify any conflicts and provide recommendations to address them.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 10 years of scheduling experience of building construction and transportation projects.

    • Expert knowledge of construction staging and the ability to coordinate multiple contracts staging requirements.

    • Expert knowledge of Oracle Primavera P3 and P6. Ability to compare schedule submittal and updates to contract requirements. Provide critical path and float analysis, risk assessment, performance analysis and time impact analysis.

    • Create, manage and maintain both program and project level schedules of varying complexity. Provide analysis of project schedules for logic defects, duration issues, and non-compliance with contract requirements in writing.

    • Strong presentation skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Attend meetings with and make clear, thorough presentations of findings to Port Authority Engineering Department Senior Staff.

    • Graduate from an accredited engineering/architectural school with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Architecture.

    • Valid Driver's License required.

    • Ability to obtain a high SWAC clearance or SIDA at Airports or TWIC at Ports.
