    Clearspeed is seeking multiple Pre-Salews Engineers (Solutions Architects) for remote roles based in the US (Central or Eastern time zones).

    About the Role:

    Supporting the Clearspeed Sales team, the Pre-Sales Engineers (Solutions Architect) functions as a pre-sales engineer by selling and providing advice and support on Clearspeed’s products and services. This role will work with customers in the insurance market, initially p&c claims, and will translate and explain technical and sometimes complex information focusing on how our products and services will solve specific customer problems.

    This is a remote position based in the Eastern or Central time zones in the US.

    Responsibilities:

    • Creates and performs product demos that are specific to the prospect’s needs, goals, and unique scenario.
    • Conducts customer requirements discovery and provides a deep level of product knowledge and skillfully answers product-related questions during the sales cycle.
    • Supports the sales team, responds to RFPs, and prepares custom quotes when needed.
    • Participates in discussions with prospects regarding the competitive landscape, draws on knowledge of competitive differentiation and positioning.
    • Acts as the technical project manager/liaison for coordinating internal resources, salesperson and prospect, and working with internal technical resources to ascertain the feasibility and fit from a technical and functional perspective.
    • Works with the sales team and prospect to help determine if the product is the right fit for the prospect’s needs.
    • Demonstrates and trains sales team members on product features and how to successfully position those features for maximum impact.
    • Performs additional related duties as required.

    About You:

    We are looking for candidates with a pre-sale engineer and solutions delivery background. This role requires a deep knowledge of the insurance P&C claims process and technology ecosystem and a consistent record in winning enterprise software insurance-focused deals.

    Requirements:

    • Pre-sales experience and a deep knowledge of the P&C insurance claims process and technology ecosystem.
    • A record of achievement and solution expertise in a comparable role.
    • 3+ years of related experience.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, technical, and writing skills.
    • Knowledge of Guidewire strongly preferred
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
