    Position Summary:

    We’re looking for a highly motivated AP Specialist to join our growing team. The AP Accountant will work closely with the entire finance team and report to our Senior Accountant to own the AP and Credit Card processes. A self-starter, focused on continuous improvement, the candidate will have a strong AP background, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong desire to learn and grow with our company.

    Responsibilities:

    • Execute full cycle accounts payable process including reconciliation and processing of vendor payments.
    • Respond to vendor inquiries; research and correct discrepancies as needed.
    • Review credit card expenses, receipts, and tractions; code, record, and reconcile weekly.
    • Own vendor document collection and 1099 reporting including W9 collection.
    • Own account reconciliation for accounts payable and credit card accounts.
    • Provide timely response to inquiries and requests.
    • Work closing with purchasing team to ensure alignment with company procedures and objectives.
    • Develop processes and procedures to anticipate needs in rapidly changing environment.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on all things related to accounts payable and procurement.
    • Other Accounting Projects as assigned.

    Required Experience:

    • 3+ years’ experience in AP required, construction accounts payable preferred.
    • Associates degree in accounting or business highly preferred
    • Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment required (NetSuite, Acumatica)
    •  Knowledge of accounting and finance principles/processes
    • Familiarity with manufacturing or construction industry required.
    • Strong use of Excel and other Microsoft Office products required.
    • Solid attention to details, with the capability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities while resolving problems quickly to meet tight deadlines.
    • Self-motivated team player, great work ethic, and positive attitude
