    THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PALATKA, FL. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH TRAVEL TO PALATKA, FL FOR THIS ROLE AS THIS PERSON WILL BE TRAVELING TO THE CLIENT SITE EVERYDAY FROM MONDAY-FRIDAY.

    SDI is looking for another stellar individual to join our team in Florida! We are looking for the customer service guru that will have direct communication with our clients and will be that go-to person through ensuring the right parts materials are at the site when needed. Operations Analyst are responsible for purchasing capabilities, making sure our parts are leaving the facility and are on their way to our client sites, you know, to make our clients happy!     HIGHLIGHTS FOR YOUR NEXT CAREER MOVE:

    • Working with Purchasing department to make sure parts are leaving the facility on time to our client sites, ensuring A/P has the information needed to document on file.
    • Performing production planning for customer areas - manage reports to track daily, weekly, monthly and outage work as well as reporting the status of all work at the customer site
    • Running match exception reports and analyzing the root cause of errors
    • Create action plans to resolve issues
    • Inventory analysis and reconciliation of cycle counting events
    • Communicate delivery expectations to the client
    • Provides back-up to the Material Manager

    THE SKILLS YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM:

    • High school diploma or equivalent industry experience required
    • Previous purchasing experience
    • Must have a valid driver’s license
    • Supervisory and project management experience highly preferred
    • Ability to lift weight unaided of up to 50 pounds; higher weights using equipment such as pallet jacks
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software and familiarity with warehouse ERP software required
    • It would be perfect if you have experience working with trades in a maintenance or repair environment and if you’re content working in an industrial environment where you’re exposed to heat, noise, and dirt.
    • Deliver outstanding customer service.
    • A clean drug screen and background check as there is driving involved.
