  • Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prospecting and generating leads from a variety of sources
    • Collaborating and working with an experienced Account Executive to strategically land outbound prospects and accounts
    • Qualifying prospects and collecting as much critical information necessary to best prepare the Account Executives for the next meeting
    • Collaborating with marketing and other cross functional teams to help align messaging and drive more interest
    • Providing initial demos of the platform
    • Leverage sales tools: SFDC, Zoominfo, Linkedin Sales Nav, and Outreach.
    • Learn about the industries we serve: materials science, chemistry, and biology.
    • Exceed your goals and work towards a merit-based promotion.
    • Attend conferences around the country.

    Who We're Looking for:

    • A hard-worker. You are in a startup and might take on roles that are outside of your job description. If you hustle and continue to improve, you’ll succeed.
    • Experience in cold outreach meaning you know what it is like to have monthly quotas and know how to reach goals.
    • Data-driven decision making - You’ll have a bunch of leads to work through and not everyone can be sequenced. Stay organized and make smart decisions!
    • Eagerness to learn and continue to improve
    • Availability to travel 25% of the time
    • Availability to take morning calls with the East Coast and Europe (eg. 7am PT calls

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 6+ months of outbounds sales experience and a track record of success
    • Past experience working in a start-up
    • Knowledge of chemistry, materials science, or a science-related subject
