    Job Description

    OUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE RISING TALENT AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP AND ADVANCE THEIR CAREER PATH IN SUSTAINABILITY.

    We are a very flexible, entrepreneurial team. As such, the work requirements of these Impact campaigns will vary and adjust as needed. More importantly, we seek to empower our Impact team to collectively set their own direction. 

    Areas we will seek your involvement:

    • IMPACT EXECUTION: Working to have a leading financial institution adopt our "Eco Rewards" (https://sealawards.com/eco-rewards/) concept 
    • NETWORKING + RESEARCH: Conducting interviews with corporate sustainability executives to identify predictive traits of ethical leadership. More importantly, this work will give YOU an opportunity to network with potential employers
    • "YOUR LEGACY": A multi-media campaign to tap into legacy considerations of prominent decision-makers to further change 
    • ...and enhancing the visibility of our Environmental Journalism Award and Business Sustainability Award winners

      

    We expect your time commitment to range from 5 hours to 25 hours per month (with flexibility when those hours occur).

    The POSITION IS 100% REMOTE (we are based in beautiful San Diego, though).

    The POSITION IS UNPAID - specifically, we are a non-commercial organization 100% subsidized by our Founder. 

    GIVEN THE AMBITIOUS AND HIGHLY VISIBLE NATURE OF OUR IMPACT CAMPAIGNS EXECUTED BY A SMALL TEAM - INCLUDING YOU - THIS WILL BE HIGHLY REFERENCEABLE WORK FOR YOUR PORTFOLIO AND RESUME GOING FORWARD. 

    We will provide PUBLIC acknowledgment and attribution (e.g. on our website) of your contributions. 

    Further, we will provide a reference letter for your use upon request and we will provide college credits when possible.
