    ** LEWIS GINTER BOTANICAL GARDEN HAS AN URGENT NEED FOR SEASONAL PUBLIC SAFETY AND GUEST SERVICES POSITIONS.**

    SEASONAL PUBLIC SAFETY ASSOCIATE

    The Public Safety Specialist monitors and patrols the Garden campus, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence for visitors and staff. Responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to safety situations as needed, and furthering efforts to create a safe experience on the entire campus. Requires the ability to work outdoors, move through 82-acre property and lift and carry up to 30 lbs. A strong background in Public Safety or Security experience required.

    _ This is a temporary position working during Dominion Energy GardenFest of Lights from October to January._

    _ ** SEASONAL GUEST SERVICES ASSOCIATE - ADMISSIONS**_

    The Seasonal Guest Services Associate handles payment in exchange for admission fees and membership dues, event tickets, and classes. Responsible for all cash and credit card transactions; following established procedures for opening and closing assigned register. Able to efficiently use a computer system (preferably Tessitura) to perform ticket sales, register guests for classes, run reports, check the daily schedule of events, and look up events for guests needing information (date and location confirmation, etc.) Must be able to work extended periods in one location, lift 20 pounds, and work weekends.

    _ This is a temporary position working during the Dominion GardenFest of Lights Exhibit from November through January._
