SEC Reporting Manager

Our team is partnered with a global e-commerce leader, and they are seeking a SEC Reporting Manager to jointheir team!

Responsibilities:

• You will work with the Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting and the Senior Analyst to prepare financial statements, footnote disclosures, GAAP disclosure checklists and MD&A disclosures.
• Collaborate with the investor relations team to assist in the tie out of financial data in earnings releases and investor presentations.
• You will prepare, distribute, collect and analyze information received in the international reporting packages.
• You will review the quarterly cash flow statements.
• You will prepare or review other technical accounting workstreams on an ad-hoc basis
• You will research new FASB guidance and draft or review white papers.
• Perform financial reporting research of U.S GAAP and SEC guidance and peer company-comparable disclosures.
• You will assist in the preparation of the external auditor’s PBCs items.
• Work with internal audit on financial reporting, SOX documentation and testing.
• You will have 1 direct report to mentor, coach, and help develop.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in SEC reporting
• You're an expert communicator, delivering both written and verbal messages succinctly
• You're a details person with a penchant for preparing meticulously accurate work
• You thrive in an often-times ambiguous environment
• You're comfortable with MS Office, with Excel being your secret favorite
• Proficient in Workiva
