    JOB SUMMARY

    The Systems Administrator is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems.  This position will ensure that the uptime, performance, and resources of the computers meet the needs of the end-users and will also provide end-user support for all computer hardware and software systems.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responds to incoming IT support requests and prioritizes issues based on severity.
    • Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, and signature pads
    • Installs, configures, and updates software for operating systems, drivers, antivirus programs, productivity suites, and other software on servers and end-user workstations
    • Assists in the setup, customization, and adaptation of existing programs to meet users requirements
    • Provides telephone, in-person, and online support to end-users
    • Coordinates activities with network services and information systems groups
    • Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via email, voicemail, or in person communication
    • Refers major hardware, software, and networking problems to the Information Technology Manager
    • Connects users to network and provides initial training in facilities and applications
    • Administers, manages, and troubleshoots Active Directory, Windows Server, and email systems
    • Monitors and performs maintenance on backup and logging systems
    • Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies
    • Assists with Audio/Video editing as assigned

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Work, spreadsheet software, inventory software, development software, design software, internet software, database software, contact management systems, credit union operating system, Microsoft Windows based software, intranet and communication systems, data lines, cyber security management systems, server and router software, computer server and networking hardware.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    Associate's Degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
