    POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re hiring for an Accounting Specialist to work in Florence, CO.  In this role you’ll become an important member for our corporate team and support Federal Contracts vital to our nation. 

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assume the bookkeeping responsibilities and reporting for various business clients
    • Review and prepare source documents by compiling and sorting information for computer entry
    • Analyze customer and account source documents and review data for deficiencies.
    • Utilize QuickBooks
    • Process Payroll
    • Conduct periodic reconciliations of accounts, bank, and credit card statements to ensure their accuracy
    • Analyze financial data and prepared financial reports
    • Responsible for timely filing of all local, state, and governmental taxes
    • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
    • Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    • Must have a minimum of 5 yrs. of relevant accounting and or bookkeeping experience
    • Ability to create and edit complex Excel Spreadsheets
    • Knowledge of accounting rules, regulations, policies and procedures
    • Proven, solid software skills and exposure to automated accounting systems such as QuickBooks
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to communicate effectively using the English language; both in written communication and verbally

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: B.S. Accounting/Finance or a related field of study; Additional experience may substitute for degree.
