    Position Overview:

    SEG Solar is on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. As we continue to expand in the solar industry, we are seeking an individual who is passionate about contributing to a greener world, eager to grow professionally, and excels in a collaborative environment.

    Responsibilities:

    Oversee Financial Close Process:

    Supervise the month-end close process, ensuring accurate journal entry preparation and meticulous analysis of account balances.

    Responsible for intercompany transactions and international consolidation

    Ensure accuracy of payroll, expenses, accruals, commissions and related reconciliations

    Managing accounting staffs (1 to 2)

    Directly report to the CFO for streamlined operations.

    Prepare annual budget and projections

    Develop and maintain accounting policy and internal controls

    Financial Reporting and Tax Filings:

    Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports according to US GAAP and IFRS, emphasizing accuracy and compliance.

    Assist with ERP Oracle NetSuite system implementation.

    Working with external CAP firms for financial statement audit and tax preparations

    Revenue, Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Oversight:

    Experience in cost accounting or within a manufacturing setup

    Collaborate in reviewing physical inventory, reconciling variances in cost of goods sold, and maintaining fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

    International Collaboration:

    Collaborate seamlessly with national or international departments such as sales and marketing.

    Banking and Transactions Management:

    Manage day-to-day banking operations, including wire transfers, ACH, and meticulous bank account reconciliations.

    Accounts Payable and Receivable:

    Efficiently handle invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintain GL entries.

    Payroll and Benefits:

    Process payroll, expense reimbursements, and benefits-related entries with precision.

    Accruals and Intercompany Entries:

    Execute accruals, loan interest, and intercompany entries as needed.

    Software Proficiency:

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), ERP (NetSuite), and financial reporting software (e.g., QuickBooks).

    Communication and Collaboration:

    Collaborate effectively with national and international departments, including sales and marketing.

    Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field. CPA Preferred.

    At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

    Proficiency with ERP systems and QuickBooks is advantageous.

    Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is REQUIRED.

    Sharp analytical skills paired with an eye for detail.

    Ability to multitask effectively and deliver under tight deadlines.
