    Job Description

    This position will report to the Manager of the Office of Project and Portfolio Management and will play a key role in our organization’s growth of products and services focused on our mission to develop and enable the Home Care Aide profession. Our work environment is fast-paced and exciting as our organization reaches for deeper penetration and an enhanced leadership position in the long-term care marketplace. We design and deliver products and services that allow older adults and people with disabilities to receive care in community-based settings rather than institutions.     You Will:

    • Be responsible and accountable for the project management of complex, large-scale, cross-functional projects to meet strategic business and organizational objectives
    • Track projects, and provide visibility to cost, schedule, and performance
    • Mitigate risks, resolve issues, facilitate team and project communications
    • Accountable, in partnership with project owner, for the ultimate success and acceptance of the overall assigned program
    • Maintain continuous alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives and recommend modifications to enhance effectiveness
    • Provide ongoing project visibility and reporting
    • Teach and mentor others in the required discipline and competencies of program and project management and help instill a culture of project management
    • Exhibit flexibility in right-sizing methodology and approach within our startup culture environment
    • From time-to-time, perform other duties commensurate with the level of this position
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in applicable subject area
    • 5-8 years of experience in business-related project management
    • 2-3 years of experience working in a program environment, leading cross functional and/or complex programs
    • Fluency in standard program and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, Smartsheet and SharePoint);
    • Proven ability to lead programs utilizing the PMBOK methodology and discipline
    • Health care experience desired
    • Training program implementation experience desired
    • Startup environment experience strongly desired
    • Non-profit experience desired
    • PMP Certification preferred
    • High energy and a desire to work in a start-up environment
    • Ability to analyze and present data and insights to ignite action, track and evaluate  operational effectiveness and identify and mitigate risks
    • Expert knowledge of project planning and cross-functional team management
    • Comfortable and productive working and leading in ambiguous situations
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate collaborative solutions to complex multi-disciplinary problems
    • Strong visual presentation skills as related to developing and delivering reports, scorecards, and presentations.
