Sentera is seeking an intern candidate with knowledge, experience, and interest in the fields of Engineering to aid in the testing, demonstration, maintenance, data collection, and presentation of small unmanned aircraft sensor data for use in agricultural and mapping applications.

DUTIES

• Flight testing, bench testing, sensor testing, application testing, and data collection using small unmanned aircraft
• Create and follow test and repair plans
• Process flight test and sensor imagery data and create test reports
• Build and repair small unmanned aircraft
• Travel to rural locations for flight operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing Bachelor of Science in Engineering or applicable technical field
• Part 107 Certified Small Unmanned Aircraft Pilot is required prior to or within first week of employment

SKILLS

• Strong computer and technical skills
• Working knowledge of electronic systems and sensors typical to small UAVs
• UAV operating experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Customer service oriented
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Maintain confidentiality of company information and data
• Ability to work within in a team or independently, with a can-do attitude, and willing to work until the job gets done

DETAILS

Travel: Yes, as needed. Overnight travel not to exceed 20%; Flight operations will be done outdoors and in rural settings. 

Worksite location: Main Office in Richfield, MN

FLSA and Job Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time

WHAT WE OFFER
