    Job Description

    SUMMARY

    SENTRE is looking for a dynamic individual with high energy and superior sales and customer service experience to join our management team as a Leasing professional for their San Diego portfolio. 

    Our Leasing & Resident Services Associate is a key role in SENTRE Living team.   You are the first contact as prospective residents start their journey to find their perfect apartment and then nurture the resident experience while supporting the property’s needs. You will work with the supervision of our Property Management Team assuring a high level of professionalism in resolving property issues, including timely response to and resolution of any tenant requests or concerns. The ideal candidate must thrive in fast-paced leasing offices, juggle various tasks and work well within a team at multiple sites.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform property walks to ensure property is aesthetically acceptable and meets standards;
    • Advertise daily on all platforms  – post ads and ensure all ads and website are accurate;
    • Perform Market Survey(s) – monthly or as needed for availability/upcoming exposure;
    • Respond to leads from all advertising sources/update Entrata;
    • Tour and follow up with prospective residents; Assist with application process;
    • Process applications per procedures and protocol;
    • Prepare and send Welcome Letter to approved applicants;
    • Prior to move-in appointment, walk unit and ensure that unit is ready;
    • Perform move-in procedures;
    • Assist team with weekly leasing and retention goals;
    • Monitor Service Requests, follow up and ensure completion per procedures;
    • Assist with tenant communication and follow up;
    • Assist with vendor communication and follow up;
    • Place and track maintenance supply orders per maintenance tech / property needs;
    • Perform Notice to Vacate procedures;
    • Create and provide pre-move-out and move-out inspection paperwork to tenant;
    • Unit inspections – Pre-Inspection/Move Out Inspection/ Final Inspection with tenant/tech;
      • Report needed upgrades and/or replacements to CM
    • Unit turnover – assist with make-ready scheduling for both vendor and maintenance;
      • Update Make Ready Board
    • Ensure and monitor resident insurance compliance;
    • Ensure and monitor vendor insurance compliance;
    • Assist with property tenant events and community outreach;
    • Attend Weekly Living calls and training;
    • Promote resident satisfaction and grow retention;
    • Maintain and promote positive community and company reputation;
    • Enforce community rules and policies.

    COMMUNICATION SKILLS

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

     REQUIREMENTS

    • 1+ years of proven success in residential leasing required
    • Fair-housing training (provided/required)
    • Must have reliable transportation
