About the OpportunitySeqMatic is seeking an associate scientist to join our sequencing service team. The position requires a strong background in molecular biology, particularly nucleic acid purification and NGS workflows. Extract DNA and RNA from cells and tissues using manual and automated workflows;

Prepare Illumina compatible sequencing libraries;

Track and update sample information;

Organize and maintain experimental records and lab procedures;

Communicate in person and electronically with customers and team members;

Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or a related science;

Extensive hands-on experience RNA extractions from various samples types including blood, cells and frozen tissue

In depth hands-on experience of Next Generation Sequencing library preparation;

Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines;

Ability to work independently and with a team;

Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills;
