    Position Focus: Project Specialist

    Offers business solutions based on employer needs. Develops and maintains relationships, consults on industry specific services, and provides local employers with human resource solutions to help organizations meet their business goals.

    PRIMARY DUTIES

    Make the first contact with the employer once information is passed from the Sr. Management, BC, for all TD initiatives. Execute agreements, develop needs assessments, and assist with collection of required documentation from employers, vendors, and community partners.

    Manage TD New Hire projects through candidate selection and TD Current Worker projects through training completion.

    Respond to further requests for service from active and inactive TD employers.

    Develop, manage, and execute all projects from beginning to end including Talent Development, outplacement, layoff aversion, and rapid re-employment.

    Supports system in identifying and curating employers to participate in work-based learning, pre-apprenticeship, and similar projects.

    Provide technical support and professional advice to employers to help meet their immediate and long-term recruitment, training, and business needs. Follow up and follow through to ensure customer satisfaction.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    BA or BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field, or at least 4-5 years direct experience in business administration, marketing, human resources, or public workforce system (preferred)

    Strategic thinker with knowledge of human resource topics, principles and methods for marketing services and methods of providing quality customer service.

    Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficient with public speaking and able to present data to clients, managers, and executive leaders.

    Analytical thinker with the ability to use multiple sources of information to drive business strategy, solve customer needs, suggest solutions and develop actions plans.

    Collaborate with business customers and all levels of staff inside and outside of the organization.

    Self-directed and able to make rational decisions based on what is best for a customer.

    Results oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities, effectively prioritize tasks and manage time.

    Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office, familiar with and able to use computers, able to learn new software.

    Valid Driver’s License and Insurance
