    SUMMARY: The Talent & Development Account Support Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating financial assistance programs for talent development initiatives. This role involves open training accounts in Financial Accounting System, requesting vouchers, processing On-the-Job Training (OJT) reimbursements, and ensuring the accurate and timely documentation of related processes in TWIST, FAMS, and SharePoint. The specialist will also work closely with internal stakeholders to communicate updates on assigned talent development customers, ensuring the successful completion of talent development projects and timely payments to employers and vendors. Additionally, the role may require participation in special projects as assigned.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Adheres to the mission of SERCO.
    • Open Training Accounts in Financial Accounting System
    • Request Vouchers and Process OJT Reimbursements:

    • Special Projects:

    - Create and maintain training accounts in Gazelle for individuals participating in talent development programs.

    - Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of training accounts.

    - Initiate the voucher request process for OJT participants.

    - Process OJT reimbursements in accordance with established guidelines and timelines.

    - Verify and reconcile reimbursement requests for accuracy and compliance.

    - Collaborate with relevant departments to request the creation of vendor accounts for OJT providers.

    - Ensure vendor accounts are established efficiently and accurately.

    - Maintain meticulous records and documentation in TWIST, FAMS, and SharePoint systems.

    - Generate timely and accurate reports related to financial aid and talent development activities.

    - Assist in audits and compliance reviews by providing requested documentation.

    - Communicate frequently with internal stakeholders to provide updates on assigned talent development customers.

    - Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure the successful execution of talent development projects.

    - Address inquiries and concerns from employers, vendors, and program participants promptly and professionally.

    - Participate in special projects and initiatives related to financial aid and talent development, as assigned by management.

    - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications may be preferred.
    • Prior experience in financial aid administration, account management, or related roles is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in using financial software, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to financial aid and workforce development programs is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must possess and provide a valid Texas Driver's License and Automobile Liability Insurance as required by the State of Texas.
    • Must have access to reliable transportation in order to make required home visits.
