SUMMARY: The Social Media Admin II will be responsible for sharing day-to-day job postings. He/she will develop content to reach employers and job seekers while publishing the content on social media.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adheres to the mission of SERCO.
- Identifies hours with the most traffic
- Conducts analysis of Social Media traffic
- Develops, creates and publish high-quality job posting ads, and flyers for hiring events using Canva, according to what is available on www.workintexas.com
- Ensures visual branding is consistent
- Creates regular publishing schedule
- Promotes content through social media using Hootsuite service
- Delivers ideas in regards to content management
- Identifies and may prepare reports to supervisor on areas that may need intervention.
- Consults with area chambers of commerce, higher education institutions, and all local employers regarding economic and employment trends.
- Reviews database information to expand employment opportunities available to job-ready customers.
- Designs graphics for incoming job orders or events
- Active presence in all social media and website portals
- Performs other related work as assigned.
- Ensures all work orders are entered in to the system properly and conducts follow-ups on all open orders
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in the use of social media, marketing, computer reporting and database programs.
- Familiar with SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
- knowledge and application of Graphic Design
- Ability to implement new ideas of how to communicate with customers effectively

- WORK ENVIRONMENT: Fast paced, demanding physically and mentally, will be in constant communications.
- This is a telework position MUST have reliable internet connection and hardware for initial onboarding.
