Position Type: Hourly, based on experience/Contractor Direct (No Agencies)

A Services Admin is an IT professional who works with software developers, Helpdesk and other production IT staff to manage service delivery of company hosted and third-party services. The role calls for someone who has relevant hard and soft skills to overcome the traditional barriers between Engineering, QA, testing and IT operations teams and foster a collaborative, holistic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Configure, Maintain and Monitor Application and Services Configurations
• Automate processes
• Continuously delivery
• Analyzes the technology currently being used and develops plans and processes for improvement and expansion
• Performs routine application and service maintenance to ensure the production environment runs smoothly. Develops maintenance requirements and procedures
• Uses configuration management software to automatically deploy updates and fixes into the production environment.
• Account and Access Management

General Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of computing infrastructures
• Familiarity with server management and monitoring tools
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Proficiency with scripting languages
• Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues.
• Hands-on technical troubleshooting capabilities

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
• 3+ years' experience in a network administration role
• Previous experience with Jenkins, Jira, Confluence preferred.
• MCSE certification a plus
