We are seeking someone who has estimating and/or property insurance adjusting experience and is organized, has an eye for detail, understands cleaning, restoration, or construction, and can meet deadlines. If you are self-motivated and possess these skills you will be successful in this position.

This would be an ideal opportunity for a retired insurance or property claims adjuster. Possible flexibility for either FT or PT and hybrid work arrangements for the right candidate.

As a valued member of our estimating team, you will receive competitive pay and bonus program.

Primary Responsibilities:

Final review of residential and commercial project job files and estimates (approximately 20-30/wk) for accuracy and detail.

Ensure all line item charges are correct and verifiable to the work performed.

Add additional line item charges for work performed or supplies used that may have been omitted or overlooked.

Ensure the final estimate meets specific insurance carrier guidelines.

Necessary Experience and Skill Set

MIN 5 years estimating and/or property insurance adjusting experience.

Proficient use and understanding of Xactimate™ or other insurance industry estimating software.

Understanding of cleaning, restoration, or reconstruction would be a HUGE plus.

Effective written and oral communication.

Advanced math skills.

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Formal Education/Training

Xactimate level 1 and 2 certifications or greater preferred.

Normal Working Hours: TBD depending on FT or PT
