    We are seeking an Emergency Responder to join our growing team.

    Using a variety of lead sources both internal and external the Emergency Responder works independently to pursue fire damage and other large-scale disaster recovery and restoration opportunities within our assigned franchise territory area.

    Job Summary

    The Emergency Responder works to generate revenue opportunities by directly contacting property owners immediately following a fire or other large-scale emergency event. The Emergency Responder would also be engaging with local government agencies such as fire departments and municipal emergency response centers to help with education on our recovery capabilities. They establish and maintain ongoing customer loyalty and brand preference by establishing a positive and trusting relationship with the customer and these various agencies. The Emergency Responder would also collaborate with our marketing team to participate in community awareness events and programs in promotion of the brand. The Emergency Responder would need to be available 24/7 whenever an emergency event might occur and reports directly to the General Manager and/or Director of Business Development.

    Core Competencies

    The Emergency Responder must possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to build immediate rapport and confidence with the customer. This person must also be comfortable entering highly charged and potentially stressful or sometimes emotional situations. Proven ability to ask for the business and provide quality customer service. The Emergency Responder’s primary responsibilities are to be professional, compassionate, courteous, positive, knowledgeable, and confident. Effective Emergency Responder’s must also possess a working knowledge and an understanding of emergency restoration services. The ability to work under pressure and a combination of professionalism and selling skills are necessary for success.

    Duties:

    Be familiar with assigned geographic territory

    Responsible for educating on emergency response services

    Monitor and respond quickly to a variety of lead sources - scanner, social media, internet alerts, etc.

    Responds to all corporate dispatched leads and provides feedback to the GM and/or the franchise owner

    Provide an emergency package to the impacted property owner

    Communicate our many services to the affected property owner

    Establish and maintain positive professional relationships in the local community

    On-call availability 24/7 to include weekends and holidays as needed or required

    Ability and willingness to sell our services - SECURE THE JOB

    Assist and collaborate as needed with our marketing team

    Achieve and remain current in required safety and/or emergency response certifications

    Be a solid brand ambassador for the business.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    At least 5 years of experience REQUIRED in any of the following or combination thereof:

    Large Loss Fire or Water Restoration, Military, Fire Service, EMS, Police, 911 Dispatching, or Governmental Emergency Response Agency.

    This would be an ideal position for a retired firefighter or other emergency response professional.
