Position Overview: We are in search of an experienced Xactimate Estimator to join our restoration construction team. As an Xactimate Estimator, you will play a critical role in accurately assessing project costs, creating detailed estimates, and contributing to the successful execution of restoration construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimation and Cost Analysis:
Utilize Xactimate software to create accurate and comprehensive project estimates for restoration construction.
Evaluate project scope, materials, labor, and other factors to determine costs.
Collaborate with project managers and teams to ensure estimates align with project requirements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed and organized estimate reports, outlining labor, materials, and any necessary adjustments.
Maintain thorough documentation of estimates, changes, and cost breakdowns.
Provide regular updates to project managers on estimated costs and any changes during the project lifecycle.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure clear understanding of project needs.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and materials to ensure accurate estimation.
Utilize knowledge of restoration construction methods and best practices to inform estimates.
Quality Assurance:
Review estimates for accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Ensure that all estimates adhere to company and industry standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in restoration construction estimation using Xactimate.
Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Xactimate software for accurate and efficient estimating.
Construction Knowledge: Solid understanding of restoration construction materials, methods, and pricing.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates.
Communication: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams and partners.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze project details and make informed cost assessments.
