Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Business Development Representative, where you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact every day. Our focus is on restoring homes and commercial properties damaged by insurance related incidents such as fire, smoke, water, and mold.
Key Responsibilities:
Territory Growth and Relationship Management:
· Continuously grow the assigned territory by establishing and nurturing relationships with referral sources and trade partners.
· Serve as the primary contact for the restoration project, consistently maintaining these relationships.
Business Development and Lead Generation:
· Perform regular cold calls and cold call visits to identify potential leads.
· Analyze the market area to determine key contacts and strategies to turn leads into a growing customer base.
· Engage in daily meetings, lunch-and-learn sessions, and other events for business growth.
Educational and Promotional Activities:
· Promote and participate in continuing education related to the industry.
· Organize and conduct professional presentations to educate and inform potential clients and partners.
Personal Management and Networking:
· Independently manage and schedule appointments, ensuring effective time management.
· Actively participate in industry associations and stay connected with the professional community.
· Stay informed about market trends and industry developments through regular research.
Administrative Responsibilities:
· Regularly update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with new data and insights.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
· 5+ years of progressive business-to-business sales experience.
· Experience in the commercial cleaning, restoration, or insurance industry is desired.
· Proficiency in current business software technologies.
· Superb sales, customer service, administrative, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Strong business acumen with a process- and results-driven attitude.
Compensation:
· Salary + Commission + Benefits
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
· Role requires a dedicated home office setting, requiring the use of standard office equipment, and internet.
· Physical tasks include setting up displays for local trade shows, prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, or sitting.
· Travel, mainly local with some out-of-area and overnight travel.
Work Hours and Conditions:
· Full-time position with hours varying between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
· Flexibility in hours may be required based on business needs.
· Occasional extended hours may be necessary.
