As a Shop & Maintenance Manager with SERVPRO of Austin & Albert Lea/Mason City, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service is provided to all customers and clients! In this role, you will manage a wide range of functions in house to ensure field technicians can provide superior service.
The Servpro of Mason City Shop & Maintenance Manager position will be responsible for maintaining an orderly, clean and efficient shop area. This includes organizing equipment, cleaning, repairing as well as directing the cleaning and repairs for daily tools and vehicles.
This role will ensure crews are prepared to execute jobs with working equipment, inventory tools and equipment, schedule and direct crews as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Building Facility with a focus on the shop area, vehicles and equipment as well as exterior of the building
Manage in house crews as necessary
Ensure schedules are in place and monitor warranty, service logs and inventory
Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, specifications, local codes, and requirements of the scope of work.
Ensure proper documentation is secured.
Perform end-of-day/end-of-job debrief with senior management
Position Requirements
High school diploma/GED
Forklift certification, OSHA 40 & CDL are preferred
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Ability to meet established production goals and maintain profitability
Effective written and oral communication
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
