    Job Description:

    The Automotive Technician plays a crucial role in you'll actively engage in hands-on tasks, including conducting regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles. Your role involves meeting with clients to better understand their concerns, identifying issues, and assembling mechanical components according to specifications. You'll leverage your expertise to examine machines, oversee diagnostic tests, and design action plans for maintenance tasks and upgrades. Diligently maintaining work logs, repairs, and maintenance records will be part of your routine, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Assess vehicles and/or machinery to accurately diagnose and repair issues

    Liaise with clients to determine their automotive requirements and communicate vehicular defects or problems

    Provide routine inspections of vehicles and inform clients of any issues

    Prepare quotes and work estimates as requested

    Keep an accurate log of all work performed

    Maintain and clean garage equipment and tools to ensure they are kept in a safe and usable condition at all times

    Adhere to company work safety policies

    Experience conducting routine services and vehicle maintenance

    Demonstrated experience inspecting vehicles for faults and repairs

    Practical knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment

    Position Requirement:

    Effective written and oral communication

    Intermediate math skills

    Experience in cleaning/ restoration preferred

    High school diploma/GED

    IICRC certification obtained within 90 days

    Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance

    Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)

    Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods

    Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/lift/carry objects

    Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals

    Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary

    Ability to successfully pass a background check subject to applicable law
