Servpro is hiring an Independent Contractor Accounting Assistant

As an Accounting Assistant, you would be asked to assist on a project basis 10 - 20 hrs. @ week with various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities • Maintain accurate records, create financial reports and perform analysis using QuickBooks® on line. • Perform detailed and accurate data entry for QuickBooks online

• Produce monthly financial reports • Maintain records for vendors, resources, and subcontractors • Complete accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including collections • Job costing & Invoicing • Budget Preparation

Position Requirements • 3+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office Suite • 2+ years of experience with bookkeeping and collection activities • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all times • Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skills • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Very self-motivated and goal-oriented multi-tasker • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law • Superb customer service, administrative, and verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail • Self-motivated and can work independently

Location • Part time - in office position - Stateline, NV

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

This is a role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
