Job Description:
A Design Specialist is a professional who creates and maintains the visual appearance of a showroom, which is a space where customers can see and interact with products or services.
Roles and responsibilities.
Define, design, and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy that reflects the brand identity and attracts customers
Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store, such as window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
Identify key messages and set a clear image of the result for each display.
Collaborate with contractors and other experts to achieve the functional and aesthetic needs of the space
Analyze how people operate and move in the space, as well as patterns of use
Oversee the design of the showroom, coach, and mentor employees, and monitor inventory
Attract and secure business by using sales techniques and marketing strategies
Experience:
Knowledge of utilizing various software tools and programs, such as Sketch Up, AutoCAD, Dreamweaver, Xactimate, etc.
Strong skills in customer service, visualization, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, creativity, and attention to detail.
Bachelor’s degree in a business field or a related discipline, although an equivalent level of relevant professional experience may be acceptable.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
