As an Accounting Assistant, you would be asked to assist our Accounting Department handle a multitude of tasks and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Must have working knowledge of QuickBooks

Perform fundamental daily accounting tasks to assist the office team

Perform detailed and accurate data entry

Assist accounting department, as needed:

Accounts payable

Accounts receivable

Balance bank statements and online banking

Position Requirements

College level accounting classes, degree, or certifications (preferred)

Must be proficient in EXCEL and able to work in Google Sheets

Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

This is a role in a fast-paced office environment. Some filing is required which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bending or standing as necessary. Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
