Zito Construction Services, a division of SERVPRO of NE Hillsborough County / Plant City / Temple Terrace / Bartow - Lakeland Highlands / Winter Haven is looking for a qualified Construction Foreman.

Responsibilities for Foreman

Report project progress to superiors

Work alongside crew members during construction process

Develop a work schedule for workers

Supervise all in-house construction workers

Be the liaison between construction workers and supervisors when supervisor is not present

Solve disputes between workers

Ensure that a project is adequately staffed and staying on schedule

Assign tasks to construction workers

Ensure that the project is staying on or under budget

Adhere to relevant safety regulations

Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment

Qualifications for Foreman

Ability to organize a work schedule and forecast

Good time management skills

Ability to multi-task

Ability to solve disputes between workers

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Excellent communication skills

Ability to negotiate

Deep knowledge of the construction industry and processes

Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints

Perform quality checks on construction equipment

Any additional relevant certification will be considered an advantage

MINIMUM of 3 years hands-on construction experience, with focus on trim, drywall, painting, cabinet installation, finish work, etc.

MINIMUM of- 1 year as a Foreman, leading and managing a crew
