Job Description:
Respond reliably to service calls as needed. Perform tasks and services as assigned following SERVPRO® production guidelines. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas as needed. Support Restoration Crew Chief and other production personnel. Communicate with the Crew Chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Learn the business and how to get better at it!
Responsibilities:
Inventory and load work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and equipment
Prepare rooms and areas for work activities
Set up staging areas and equipment for each project
Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines per work order and directions
Ensure clear two-way communication with Restoration Crew Chief and other technicians
Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling
Requirements for Success:
Strong work ethic, reliability, and team attitude!
Experience in cleaning and infectious controls a big plus!
High school diploma or GED
Dependable transportation
Effective oral communication
Must be able to work nights and weekends
Participate in a 24-hour, on-call rotation
Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check subject to applicable laws
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Exposure to chemicals and biohazards
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to access and work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics)
Ability to walk, stand, sit, and drive for long periods of time
Ability to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects
