Public Relations Representative
Summary
As the Public Relations Representative you will drive our marketing campaigns, including e-marketing resources, oversee the contact database, develop presentation materials, and maintain an active presence with local businesses and clients. Customer follow up will also be part of your daily routine. Develop media relations strategy in print, broadcast, and online channels to increase company visibility.
Ensure that our PR efforts serve immediate and long-term business goals.
Write press and media kits, and direct social media team (starfish)
Create and execute marketing plans with content, pitch new ideas and amplify branding on social media.
Business relations with key referral persons in the territory.
Create vibrant social media content to promote a stronger following.
Strong communication skills, professional demeanor and organizational skills.
Assist with strategies for damage control.
Educate our targeted audience on services.
Proficient with statistics and job reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
Increase volume and assist with growing the company
Establish relationships with clients and develops new prospects
Develop marketing initiatives and budget, create annual marketing plan
Maintain and establish all digital platforms
Attend up to 4 trade shows a year locally.
Necessary Experience and Skill Set
Sales, marketing, or customer service experience, with demonstrated history of growth
Effective oral and written communication
Solid organization and planning capabilities, strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to meet people in new or difficult situations and build rapport
Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment while being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to multi-task
Experience with professional marketing associations a plus
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Occasionally sitting for long periods of time, and driving within territory.
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position with hours Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Consistent Travel throughout the territory.
