Job Description:

Be able to plug in and assist the Repairs Department on projects as needed. Must have knowledge across a range of i.e. painting, window rescreens, installing bathroom vanities/ kitchen cabinets, medicine cabinets, light fixtures, caulking, stucco/ drywall repair, some basic plumbing skills, etc.

Responsibilities:

Perform general handyman labor across multiple trades

Prepare rooms/areas for work activities

Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance

Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance

Perform production processes following SERVPRO® reconstruction guidelines per work order directions

Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance

Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling

Qualifications:

Superb customer service track record

Effective written and oral communication

Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred but not necessary

Must have reliable transportation

Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing

Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
