    The project manager functions in a hybrid role, overseeing all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned production crews. Their responsibilities are centered around customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development. The assistant project manager prescribes, coordinates, controls, and performs work activities on restoration projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.

    Project Manager Responsibilities:

    Manage the customer experience and overall customer satisfaction.

    Manage the client experience and overall client satisfaction

    Communicate clear expectations to production technicians and crew chiefs and supervise their activities.

    Provide priority response to potential customers.

    Develop scope of work for projects and review estimates.

    Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.

    Schedule crews and resources to provide service on active projects.

    Coordinate and oversee the production of services with crews and subcontractors.

    Document and/or review job file to support the services provided.

    Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

    Manage production expenses.

    Manage and control labor and consumable usage on assigned projects. Manage assets by protecting and using equipment and materials properly.

    Manage equipment and materials (assets).

    Always follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.

    DBMX digital program initial forms/ Xactimate Sketch & Scope/ Communication to office on scope of work and crews needed to complete job. (Scope additions/ moisture readings/ pictures and missing requirements)

    Project Manager Secondary Responsibilities:

    Train production personnel.

    Manage production personnel on jobs.

    Continued development of leadership and management skills, as well as restoration expertise.

    Other tasks/duties as required by employer.

    Restoration | Construction Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

    • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance

    • Exposure to chemicals

    • Walking and/or standing throughout the day.

    • Frequent driving and sitting. Occasionally climbing ladders.

    • The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat.

    • The noise level in the work environment and jobsites can be loud.

    • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights

    • Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)

    • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

    Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:

    • This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.

    • This position frequently requires long hours, working on-call, and weekend work.

    • Travel is required and is primarily local.
