SERVPRO® of Southern Cuyahoga, is the premier fire and water cleanup and restoration company in Northeast Ohio. We are expanding our operations with 12 franchises in the Cleveland, Akron, Mansfield and Toledo areas. Due to our recent growth, we are seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be a key member of the leadership team helping advise and guide the company on goals and company's financial status. The Accounting Manager also ensures that the department operates efficiently without sacrificing accuracy.

Responsibilities:

Plan, implement, and manage the financial strategy

Prepare financial statements

Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency

Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.

Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll

Track, prepare and manage CAT tax, sales tax, and royalty payments

Perform job costing, budgeting and forecasting

Effective communication with management team as well as with customers, vendors, and insurance companies

Requirements:

Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations

High level of efficiency and accuracy

Quickbooks experience REQUIRED

Superior Microsoft Excel knowledge

Strong organization and time management skills, including attention to detail

Criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
