Due to our recent growth, we are expanding our Contents Restoration Department and seeking customer focused, motivated, and responsible part-time or full-time Contents Restoration Technicians. The Contents Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of restoration projects for our various customers from fire, water, and mold damage. Technicians provide our customers with quality, consistent, and efficient work, representing the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

    Job Description:

    The Contents Restoration Technician performs production processes to fulfill the service needs of individual restoration projects and maintains the professional appearance of SERVPRO restoration equipment. By providing quality, consistent, efficient work, the Contents Restoration Technician represents the best in the cleanup and restoration industry.

    Responsibilities:

    Primary Responsibilities:

    1. Perform various cleaning techniques on household items as directed by Servpro industry standards for the purpose of restoring from Fire, Water, or Mold Damage.
    2. Assist in conducting weekly, monthly inventory of restoration equipment, products, and supplies. Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
    3. Prepare clean rooms /work areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for inbound and outbound contents.
    4. Perform other restoration processes as directed.
    5. Adheres to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
    6. Communicate with crew chief, other technicians and manager to maintain efficient production processes.
    7. Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave work area with a clean and orderly appearance.

    Secondary Responsibilities:

    1. Maintain an organized warehouse space. Clean and maintain the warehouse, office, and grounds, as assigned.

    2. Coordinates, when necessary, with Crew Chiefs and Manager regarding content cleaning schedules in preparation for Client move backs.

    3. Develop production expertise in services, cleaning products, and equipment.

    4. Ensure equipment/supplies are returned, cleaned, and put away.

    5. Document a detailed and accurate job file in Drybook to support the services provided and if applicable, ContentsTrack

    6. Be prepared when (if) possible, to aid the fire Restoration Technicians on the job site.

    7. Other tasks/duties as required by employer

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma/GED

    IICRC certifications preferred, but not required

    Dedicated to world class customer service

    Strong work ethic

    Effective oral communication

    Strong organizational skills

    Ability to give attention to detail. (Specifically with written documentation, work tasks execution, and a thorough cleaning processes

    Experience in cleaning, restoration, or moving industry preferred.

    Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

    Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 80 pounds with assistance

    Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) where applicable

    Walking and standing for long periods of time, sitting, climbing stairs

    Exposure to cleaning chemicals

    Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
