Job Description:
We are currently searching for a Construction Laborer to join our team as a Restoration Technician, assisting with disaster restoration-related work. You'll work directly under the supervision of a team lead, and provide excellent customer service to the client and other team members. In this role, you'll perform extraction and demolition work.
Responsibilities:
Assist with water mitigation, tarping, boarding up, mold remediation repair, water extraction, pack-out of contents, removal/disposal of non-salvageable materials, and demolition.
Perform water/fire/smoke damage repair as directed.
Set up and monitor air movers and/or dehumidifiers.
Report any equipment malfunctions that occur or any customer problems/issues or damages found during projects.
Deliver focus and dedication while providing excellent customer service.
Assist in warehousing and facility-related tasks when necessary.
Qualifications:
Effective oral communication
Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
High school diploma/GED
IICRC certifications preferred
Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
Exposure to chemicals
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
