    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The sales coordinator provides key support to the sales team and reports to the Director of Sales. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task and demonstrate superior organizational skills to coordinate the back-office activities associated with sales incentive programs. She or he must have excellent critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills to be able to complete tasks such as analyzing consignment inventory programs. She or he must be able to pitch in with administrative tasks such as collating marketing materials and shipping them to customers.

     

    JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Work closely with the Director of Sales on the planning and successful execution of sales incentive plans, as well as tracking and evaluating effectiveness of those sales incentives.
    • Work closely with the sales reps in the field (approx. 13 people) to answer questions, fulfill requests for marketing collateral, solve problems, etc.
    • Work with customers and/or internal customer service to resolve higher-level problems.
    • Maintain various spreadsheets that track customer accounts related to things like advertising spend, discount eligibility, etc.
    • Be able to use the A2000 ERP system as required for things like order entry, customer inquiries, inventory inquiries, etc. Be able to run reports as needed.
    • Act as the point-person for projects such as organizing gifting to customers at holiday-time and organizing other special events targeted toward the end customers i.e. Sample/Warehouse Sales on and off site.
    • Assist in twice annual markets to support the roll-out of new Spring and Fall fashion.

    Requirements

    · BS/BA or equivalent experience.

    · Reasonably high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    · Strong computer skills. Previous experience with A2000 a plus.

    · Demonstrated detail-oriented organizational skills exhibiting quality and accuracy, with the ability to manage and multi-task projects from inception through execution.

    · Self-motivated, confident, and energetic, with a roll-up-your sleeves attitude and a desire to learn new things.

    · Ability to handle deadlines and maintain composure under pressure.

    · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    · Ability to flourish in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
