    Your Career

    As our Director of Federal Sales, you will lead sales and pipeline growth in the US Federal area, focusing on developing our network of Federal Systems Integrators. You can build on our excellent foundation of US Federal DoD programs and contracts and extend us to more direct and partner-led programs. As a growth company, we see strong demand for 5G, Spectrum, and Private Wireless networks to support the federal government. You will drive new customer acquisition, partner strategies, and program execution.

    Your Impact

    • Establish end-to-end procedures within Federated Wireless’ partner channel, emphasizing managing and developing teaming agreements, hierarchical relationships, and procurement processes with major government contractors.
    • Develop, manage, and execute a strategic, comprehensive business plan for the Federal marketplace.
    • Generate and manage new opportunities within the federal market, including deal forecasting and processing and negotiating terms for large government contracts.
    • Develop demand and pipeline by building programs through end-user sales and partners.
    • Assess strategic customer objectives and write and articulate proposals and strategies to build pipelines and new contracts.
    • Conduct market research and recommend product positioning and pricing strategy.
    • Oversee management activities, including monthly operating reviews, weekly forecasting and pipeline development activity, account planning, and go-to-market strategy.
    • Participate in internal team meetings to collaborate with the supporting ecosystem on opportunities, resolve customer issues, share best practices, and work with cross-functional teams.
    • Engage with the sales ecosystem and partners in support of sales opportunities.

    Your Experience

    • A US Citizen with 7+ years of federal industry sales experience and a consistent track record of exceeding sales goals
    • Bachelor’s degree in a business, technical, or other field, or equivalent combination of additional number of years of education and experience
    • Experienced professional able to develop relationships, partnering with large government contractors and integrators.
    • Extensive knowledge of the government contracting and sales process
    • Deep understanding of cloud technology and communications solutions
    • Experience in scaled, multi-year programs
    • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment
    • Excellent business planning and coaching skills to guide sales and tech sales teams to develop and implement targeted plans
    • Demonstrated discipline and accuracy in forecasting business and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
    • Able to work successfully across a complex, highly matrixed environment
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to motivate, inspire, and lead cross-functional teams with a high degree of independence and success
    • High ethical standards and integrity
    • Secret clearance or higher is desirable but not required
