    SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

    Reporting directly to The Vice President, Safe Harbor Services. This individual will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

     

    CORE COMPETENCIES

    • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the VP, Safe Harbor Services including: composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential.
    • Manage incoming calls from potential clients and answer initial questions prior to starting the onboarding process.
    • Respond and resolve service- related issues with FIN-Tech clients.
    • Monitoring Account Activity of Third-Party Payment Processors/Specialty Accounts; ensuring compliance objectives are maintained as it pertains to BSA Obligations, policies & procedures

    DUTIES:

     

    On-Going:

    • Manages incoming calls from special Third- Party processors and specialty accounts interested in learning more about the Safe Harbor program. Determining if a relationship with Safe Harbor is beneficial. Monitor procedures to ensure compliance of third parties and specialty accounts.
    • Determine and recommend changes to procedures or policies as needed
    • Work with credit union on ACH compliance as required
    • Initiate appropriate SARs as required by regulations
    • Review fee share with credit union and make recommendations based upon fair allocation and work load associated with Third Party management.

    MONTHLY-

    • Complete the monitoring and validation worksheet
    • Monitor and keep current due diligence documents on each client as required by procedure
    • Input account activity and Analysis the data for Red Flags
    • Monitor contracts with Safe Harbor/Credit Union to ensure renewed or updated as required to include revenue share and marketing agreements.
    • Review Compensatory Balances
    • Review Validation Samples 2-5
    • Review SAR’s if Received 10%
    • Review and recommend to BSA Officer Priority and Termination SAR’s
    • Site Visit (sample) or required regular relationship reviews as dictated by procedure.
    • Audit Accounts for compliance

    QUARTERLY:

    ANNUALLY:

    • Collect & Review Annual Due Diligence (per procedures as well as that you may believe necessary) that may include the following, but not limited to such:
      • current Security/SOC and PCI Audits
      • current BSA/AML Audit
      • current ACH Self-Assessment
      • current ACH Audits
      • current Financials
      • current Tax Returns
      • insurance
      • org chart
      • Articles and Certificate of Good Standing with the State
      • new DBA’s documents
      • new or renewed State licenses
      • new or renewed Federal Licenses
      • new or updated State Letters
      • updated operating agreements/corporate documentation Collect most current client contract
      • most current BSA/AML policy
    • Update ACH agreements if needed
    • Review IRS 8300 reports
    • Update BSA Calculator

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 1 years’ experience in a similar work environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    SALARY : $40,000-$45,116 DEPENDING ON KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
