Shifa Nephrology Associates LLC is recruiting for a Full Time Nephrologist position. The ideal candidate will see a mix of hospital, nursing home, dialysis unit and clinic patients. In this role, the physician is responsible for providing inpatient Nephrology consults and follow-up, outpatient Nephrology consults and follow-up, and evaluation of patients with acute, chronic, and end-stage kidney disease; and fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base disorders. Develops treatment plans, including but not limited to dialysis (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis). Rounds on hospitalized patients, follows up with patients in the clinics, transcribes prescription medications, enters requests for consultative services, provides diet instructions, and makes other physician-driven decisions.
