    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Shipping & Receiving team member is primarily responsible for safely and accurately receiving incoming inventory from our vendors and reconciling it with the vendor's invoice. Compare Purchase Orders (P.O.) part numbers, cost and quantities in our Point of Sale system (P.O.S.) and ensure sale price stickers are accurately applied. Audit and file federal paperwork including Federal Firearms License, 4473’s, Form 3’s, Form 4’s and other compliance paperwork to ensure accuracy.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

    Maintain standards of Safety, Compliance and Customer Service

    Accurately receive inventory into P.O.S.

    Audit Federal Form 4473 and manage physical and digital files

    Audit and file FFL’s, Form 3’s & 4’s and other compliance paperwork

    Fill out and submit Form 3310 (Multiple Handgun Sale Report) to ATF and local Law Enforcement

    Package and ship outgoing inventory

    Package and ship items for manufacturer warranty repair

    Process and package incoming and outgoing firearm transfers

    Fill ATF/LE 4473 trace requests

    Assist customers in person and on the phone when necessary due to overflow

    Organization & Cleaning of S&R areas and general shop cleanliness

    Assist with inventory counts

    QUALIFICATIONS

    The candidate that fills this position must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, and be extremely focused, organized, detail oriented and have a great desire to provide the highest levels of customer service. Must possess problem solving skills and patience, and be capable of multitasking. Must have basic knowledge of firearms manufacturers, importers, models, calibers, and other operational and descriptive factors. Understanding of laws and company policies relating to the legal transfer of firearms, ammunition and related accessories.

    -Must be able to lift at least 50lbs from the ground

    -Experience with Microsoft Excel, Google Drive, and other basic computer functions

    -Through understanding on firearm safety - Certification required

    -Basic firearms and related product knowledge

    -Strategic thinking and problem solving skills

    -Team player

    SCHEDULE

    Full Time hourly position. Schedule is based on the work location's workflow requirements.

    PAY RATE

    Based on relevant job experience, tenure with The Armories and performance evaluations.
