Established boutique CPA firm searching for an experienced bookkeeper and Staff accountant to work alongside firm partner in Mission Valley. This position is full-time/part-time or seasonal and available immediately. Preferred requirements: Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll tax and income tax Preparation and/or review of corporate, partnership, and individual income tax returns Preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments Assume tax preparation responsibility for the more complex returns Tax research and preparation of client memorandum Proficient in QuickBooks Knowledge of Lacerte tax software Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products The ideal candidate would possess: Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 2 years of recent tax experience in public accounting CPA certification preferred-or near completion Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Able to work efficiently and effectively independently Able to multi-task and prioritize simultaneous projects Excellent and flexible work environment, paid holidays, pension plan and two weeks vacation per year. Compensation commensurate with experience.
