    SHR Talent is partnering with a client in Nashville, TN in its search for an SAP HCM Systems Architect. The SAP HCM Systems Architect will be responsible for the overall quality of code delivered by developers and ensuring the code merge process is adhered to while setting a vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product or solution to drive continuous improvement. As the SAP HCM Systems Architect, you will provide leadership and define product goals that are aligned with the goals of the organization, develop a phased approach to delivering incremental value, and manage new feature requests that satisfies end users while balancing speed and usability.

    To be successful in this role as the SAP HCM Systems Architect, you should have experience leading integration projects while maintaining high attention to data consistency, quality, and accuracy, and be able to build and maintain effective relationships with management, peers, product owners, and internal stakeholders. As the SAP HCM Systems Architect, you should also have the ability to quickly develop a good understanding of the company’s processes and be a self-starter who is self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create system architecture artifacts in alignment with objectives
    • Create architecture documentations for reference
    • Research, design, and integrate new solutions, determining scope and impact in diverse and complex environments
    • Collaborate with other teams to validate and certify current and future state architectural models and assess potential impact across all enterprise systems
    • Identify use cases for technical capabilities
    • Lead and conduct hands-on evaluations, developing value proposition for new products and services
    • Maintain in-depth knowledge of next-generation designs, trends, and threats
    • Build and maintain up-to-date and clear documentations of current infrastructure and system process workflows
    • Provide leadership, directing and mentoring team members
    • Collaborate with the product owners to identify enablers and provide acceptance criteria
    • Develop technical design artifacts
    • Participate in Process Improvement (PI) planning and presentations
    • Own and prioritize backlog
    • Manage dependencies, ensuring enablers are delivered timely

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of related experience
    • Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
    • U.S. residency and citizenship, required
    • 5 + years of industry experience with enterprise systems and working across cross-functional team to implement solutions
    • 5 years of experience in post-production support or full life cycle implementations and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) team
    • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application modules, integration points and technologies such as Workday
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Systems Application Program (SAP) Human Capital Management (HCM) with a primary focus payroll
    • Experience with labor management or time, attendance systems, and managing the tax configuration for multiple states across U.S.
    • Detailed understanding of Java, Spring, Angular, JS, Containerization, Commerce Cloud, AWS Lambda Services, and API frameworks
