About the Role:

SafeLink Transit LLC is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shuttle/Bus Driver to join our growing team in Elk Grove, CA! This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in your community by providing safe, dependable transportation to passengers who count on you every day.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vehicles along designated routes

Transport passengers to and from scheduled stops in a timely and professional manner

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance

Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and securing mobility devices as needed

Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports

Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and transit regulations

Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding route updates or issues

Requirements:

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement required

Clean driving record with no major violations

Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, or passenger transport preferred

Strong knowledge of Elk Grove and surrounding Sacramento area roadways

Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check

Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor

Punctual, dependable, and committed to passenger safety at all times
